S. Candice Shikai is a Partner in the Los Angeles Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She concentrates her practice on defending corporate clients in cases involving product liability, premises liability, and complex general liability matters.
Earning her J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law in 2015, Shikai gained valuable experience through a judicial externship with the Honorable Jon S. Tigar in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to law school, she graduated cm laude from UCLA, with a B.A. in History and a minor in Philosophy.
Outside of her practice, Shikai is actively involved in both the legal and broader community. She is involved in several professional organizations, including: Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Litigation Section - Executive Committee, Communications Co-Chair; Japanese American Bar Association (JABA) – Vice President, Board of Governors; and Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) - Member.
Shikai has been a member of the LACBA Litigation Section Executive Committee since 2022. Her involvement in LACBA has allowed her to stay closely connected to local issues impacting courts and practitioners, and she is continually inspired by the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected leaders in the profession.
