Horace Heidt Estates 18 hole Par 3 Golf Course 04/29/2024

One of the most special attractions at the legendary Hoarce Heidt Estates is its 18 hole par 3 golf course. Designed and built by band leader Horace Heidt who was a scratch golfer. While entertaining throughout the world Heidt played at many of the world's most prominent courses. So he named each green after well known par 3 holes. For instance green number 1 is patterned after green number 17 at Pebble Beach Monterey, CA. Green number 5 is patterned after green number 16 at the Masters - Augusta National, in Augusta, GA. Green number 17 is patterened after number 11 Carnoustie, in Carnoustie, Scotland. It's not surprising to learn that par 3 green number 18 was especially designed by Horace Heidt and is called the Horace Heidt Special. Refer to the picture of the design of the course. So while visiting the museum at the Horace Heidt Estates don't forget to check out our championship par 3 golf course.
