There are so many things I love about being a doula but I absolutely love postpartum visits! We talk about how things are going and I get to see cute little babes but we also get to relive her birth. I love listening to these strong mama's remember their moments of strength, weaknesses and the moment when then became a mother! Earlier this week, I got to visit sweet Ezra and his amazing mommy! We remembered the moment when she surrendered and trusted her body to do what it was meant to do! It was a beautiful water birth at Gracefull!
