The Winston County Sheriff’s Department is committed to working with our law enforcement partners to reduce the amount of drugs in Winston County!

It is our further commitment, that we will not stop investigating drug trafficking organizations operating in our county!

Winston County has been overrun by drugs for several years now, it is the Winston County Sheriff’s Department’s commitment to drastically reduce the amount of drugs coming into our community.

The safety and welfare of our citizens and our youth in this county are top priority with the Winston County Sheriff’s Department!

🚒 COMMUNITY DISASTER DRILL — THIS IS ONLY A DRILL! 🚒

On Monday morning, October 26, the Louisville Fire Department will join our community partners for a disaster drill conducted by Winston Medical Center.

You may see fire trucks, law enforcement vehicles, ambulances, medical helicopters, and emergency personnel in the area. This activity is part of a planned training exercise involving a simulated accident.

🚧 Portions of the Highway 15/25 Bypass will be temporarily closed to accommodate the exercise. Please allow extra travel time, use caution, and follow directions from personnel managing traffic.

⚠️ Please keep clear of the drill scene and do not call 911 to report the simulated incident. Continue to call 911 for actual emergencies.

Training together helps our firefighters and fellow responders strengthen communication, practice lifesaving skills, and coordinate the resources needed during a major emergency.

Participating partners include Winston Medical Center, Louisville Fire Department, Louisville Police Department, Winston County Sheriff’s Department, Louisville Medical Clinic, Winston Louisville Career Technical Center, EMS, Winston County EMA, and Diamond Grove Center.

We appreciate your patience with temporary traffic delays and your support as we work together to keep our community safe.
