Congratulations to our very own Manchester Police Department on receiving this accreditation!!

We are thrilled to announce that Manchester Police has received its 11th CALEA accreditation. Our agency has proudly held CALEA accreditation since 1990, which spans an impressive 36 years. Out of approximately 18,000 law enforcement agencies in the United States, only around 5% achieve CALEA accreditation.

Remote learning today for Manchester Schools. Be safe!

UPDATE: Manchester School District will shift to a REMOTE LEARNING DAY today, Friday March 6, 2026. Due to the nature of this storm, cleanup will be delayed and local sidewalks will not be safe for families to navigate.

Realizing that DPW is currently facing snow and other challenges, I did highlight some calls I've been receiving about the roads. The bottom of Coolidge (the curve near Eddy Road) and significant sections of Douglas Street are in really poor condition and will require some patching.

I've been informing constituents that the bad weather contributes to the potholes and similar issues, but this time of year also restricts the ability to address them until conditions improve.

With that being said, I was informed by DPW that the areas I've highlighted will be addressed.

I do appreciate everyone's patience as DPW navigates the upcoming storms and road repairs.
