Just In: Mayor Joyce Craig announces on Twitter that she has joined the advisory board of Let America Vote - a liberal organization founded by 2020 potential presidential candidate Jason Kander. Many of the members of the advisory board are from groups like Emily's List and Planned Parenthood. Do you feel that having the highest city elected official participating directly with such a left-leaning group is a conflict of interest?

Manchester-based Congressman Chris Pappas has recently been touting his support for house bill HR1 (For the People Act of 2019). The ACLU has come out in firm opposition to this bill as it would prove to be unconstitutional while also chilling free speech.
From the ACLU statement:
"...the bill, in its current form, would still unconstitutionally burden the speech and associational rights of many public interest organizations and American citizens. These provisions will chill speech essential to our public discourse and would do little to serve the public’s legitimate interest in knowing who is providing substantial support for candidates’ elections."
Already Pappas is showing that he will tow the Democrat party line and not be the independent voice he promised he would be.

With another large retail space opening on South Willow St., one has to question how much more traffic the street can handle if/when occupancy along the entire street reaches a maximum. Additionally, with yet another Brady/Sullivan property in the city, are Manchester businesses inadvertently paying a "Brady/Sullivan Tax" due to lack of retail space price competition?
