Ben Prescott for Manchester NH Hey folks! I'm running for State Rep in Manchester’s Ward 2. Check my "About" page to learn more!

My name is Ben Prescott, and I have been a resident of Manchester for over 26 years and have spent the last 17 years working in the Cybersecurity field. My name is Ben Prescott, and have been a resident of Manchester for over 20 years and have spent the last 16 years working in the Cybersecurity field. As a cybersecurity analyst and a system engineer, I've built a career on protecting complex systems and finding practical solutions that work. I'll bring that same data-driven, problem-solving, empathy-tempered approach to City Hall. I believe in keeping government as unobtrusive as possible and leaving more hard-earned money in the pockets of the taxpayers who earn it. My pledge to you as your next alderman is to:
-Be tough on crime
-Bring & support effective solutions to address the drug and homeless crises
-Support our police and firefighters
-Stand against reckless spending that raises taxes & rent
-Fight for top-notch educational institutions that serve our students and taxpayers

Alderman Goonan, please keep your promise to “respect the tax cap” and urge your fellow aldermen to do the same.

Roy was one of the earliest people I met after getting involved in politics in Manchester. His constant encouragement every time I saw him was “how many doors did you knock today?” He was passionate about our state and about our city. He wanted nothing more than to see both become better places to live, be friends, and raise families. Our last convo, which was in Arms Park under the the Notre Dame Bridge about 8 weeks ago, was one in which he passionately expressed to me his wish for unity in the pursuance of conservative values.
I know so many knew him longer and deeper. But I am at a loss. I can’t believe he’s really gone.
Rest in Peace, Roy. You were a good friend a treasure to our community. 🙏
