Washington Mardi Gras 2026 wasn’t just about being in the room—it was about staying connected to home and strengthening the relationships that make the work possible.
Starting our time in DC at the office of mattered. We discussed ongoing projects in the district, current work happening on the Hill, and priorities moving forward, and spent time with key members of his team continuing to build the kind of relationships that support long-term progress.
At Boone Strategies, building a wide, trusted network across community, government, and industry is core to how we work. Showing up, staying connected, and helping local voices carry further is exactly what this firm was built to do.

One year ago, the idea for Boone Strategies officially took shape through work with the Gulf States Renewable Energy Industries Association and the leadership of Monika Gerhart. At the time, I supported the work virtually when I wasn’t able to be physically present in Washington, DC. That experience helped clarify something important: strong strategy and ex*****on matter—whether you’re in the room or behind the scenes.
This year, was fully on the ground in DC, supporting our client with a more intentional, strategic program designed to strengthen networking, elevate discussion, and encourage real collaboration. We were deliberate about who was in the room—bringing together a diverse mix of perspectives to ensure meaningful dialogue and productive outcomes.
Our team supported every aspect of planning for DC Mardi Gras 2026—from curating the right attendees and stakeholders, to working directly with leadership on panel discussions that built on prior meetings and advanced long-term goals, to managing logistics alongside staff, volunteers, and hotel partners. Just as importantly, we ensured the program remained financially sound, organized, and on budget.
This is the work Boone Strategies was built for. We are a hands-on, one-stop partner that helps organizations take an idea, develop it strategically, and execute it with precision!

A year ago, I made the decision to take years of community work, public service, nonprofit leadership, and hands-on project ex*****on—and build something intentional, disciplined, and lasting. What began as an idea rooted in service has grown—through real projects, new clients, and trusted partnerships—into Boone Strategies, LLC!
Over the past year, Boone Strategies has grown through the implementation of almost a dozen projects, new clients, and trusted partnerships. The work has centered on helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen operations, and move ideas from planning to on-the-ground ex*****on. This company is rooted in service, accountability, and a deep belief that good leadership should create real, measurable impact.
I’m grateful to the clients and partners who trusted me early and allowed this company to grow with purpose. Boone Strategies exists to support organizations doing important work and to help communities move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose!
