LDWF’s annual 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿-𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 (𝗙𝗨𝗡) 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 is coming up 𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟭𝟲–𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗪𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗲!

🏕️ The camp gives mothers and their children ages 10–13 a chance to spend a weekend outdoors together, strengthen family bonds and build outdoor skills.

NOW HIRING – Secretary

The Sabine Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to serve as Secretary.

Position Summary:
The Secretary provides administrative support for the district by assisting with daily office operations, answering phones, greeting visitors, maintaining records, preparing correspondence, and supporting district programs and board activities.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to maintain confidential information
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
* Previous office or administrative experience is preferred

Responsibilities Include:

* Answering phones and assisting the public
* Greeting visitors and responding to inquiries
* Preparing letters, reports, and meeting materials
* Maintaining files and records
* Scheduling appointments and assisting with board meetings
* Performing general office and administrative duties as assigned
* Work side by side with NRCS when needed

Salary: Based on qualifications and experience.
