A big thanks to all of the volunteers this summer that worked on water quality monitoring. From boat driving, sample collection and transportation to the lab, Little Green should feel well cared for.
Just two more samplings are planned for October and one more storm sampling event is all that remains for 2026.

Markesan AP Biology students Keaton and Lucas spent their day volunteering with the Little Green Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District. They were able to learn about lake management plans and assist with data collection on the lake and streams. It was a great real world learning opportunity!

If residents have any concerns or issues regarding Waste Management, please contact them directly at 888-960-0008. We are more than happy to assist, but this would be the initial step towards resolving the issue.

Today is the last day you can comment on the LGL Draft Aquatic Plant Management Plan. Comments can be made on the feedback form, located below the plan on our website. Comments will be added to the final version of the document.
