October is Star Wars Reads Month and Gram's Garden Little Free Library was chosen by Star Wars Books to participate in their Little Free Library book giveaway!

A limited number of books were to Stewards across America to add to their libraries in honor of Star Wars Reads Month and I'm thrilled to be one of them! (Check out the map of LFL'S here: https://readstarwars.com/little-free-libraries-2026)

On beautiful autumn days I love going to visit other Little Free Libraries to add books!

These three I first visited at the beginning of October and returned to each today to add more.

Did you know you can create a route in the Little Free Library app of up to 10 LFL's to visit? Simply add them to a route, then open it in Google maps. Once in maps you can rearrange the stops so they're in a logical, efficient order for driving to each of them. That's what I did for these, plus a couple more I didn't leave books at because they were too full.

Little Free Library Restock Day & Sunday Shelfie

Check out the Spooky Season vibes 👻 & festive autumn leaves 🍂 at Gram's Garden Little Free Library. It is Halloween ready!

🍂 There were a TON of kid's books returned this week, enough to fill my big tote bag full. Thank you for bringing books back so others can enjoy them!

👻 There were loads of donations left too. Thanks so much to all who left them!

🍂 Most of the returns/donations I pulled out, took home, and added to backstock because the shelf was super overcrowded! Plus, all books left get stamped with before being added back for readers to take.

💀 New bookmarks were added, including a handmade set gifted by The Tiny Library Bookmark Project ! Swipe to see them all, and grab your favorite the next time you stop by for books!

🍂 The Trinket Exchange is running smoothly again & that is happy making! I added another divided bin back in, filled with goodies, plus restocked the other bins. Thanks to Norma Lizzie's Little Free Library for sending me trinkets to add! I'm sure they'll be swapped out in no time.

A Whiff of Scandal and Something Sweet

The Scandal: The ARC for Rhys Bowen and Clare Broyles forthcoming Molly Murphy Mystery, A Whiff of Scandal, landed in my mailbox today, thanks to the SMP Early Readers Program and Minotaur Books.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to read this cozy, historical mystery early! This series is so good, always an adventure, and full of characters you just can't seem to get enough of.

The Sweet: Homemade peanut butter ice cream 🍦
I whipped up a batch tonight & had to scoop myself a dish before popping the rest in the freezer.

As I savor my sweet treat I'll also be savoring this book!
