Special shoutout to PV2 Gwinn for winning the May Run Challenge! He completed an impressive total of 40.2 miles, far surpassing the 12-mile minimum requirement.

PV2 Gwinn consistently exceeds the standard every drill — not only in his running performance, but in every aspect of being a Soldier. His hard work, dedication, and motivation do not go unnoticed.

Another outstanding drill weekend in the books!

This weekend, our warriors learned how to tie a one-rope bridge and a Swiss seat. Special shoutout to SPC Meadors, SPC Williams, and PV2 Maher for stepping up and leading their teams during these events with support from the cadre. Soldiers also participated in a camouflage class, where they learned techniques for blending into wooded environments and improving concealment skills.

Congratulations to PV2 Juantauh and SPC Rodriguez on their promotions — hard work truly pays off!

These future warriors continue to impress us every drill, and we have no doubt they will go on to become exceptional Soldiers.

Your hard work, discipline, and commitment have paid off. You took the challenge head-on and proved you have what it takes to earn the title of Soldier. From day one in RSP to crossing the finish line at AIT, you’ve shown resilience, growth, and pride in everything you do.

This weekend at Bravo RSP was all about hard work, teamwork, and a little fun. 💪

From pulling a truck during team relays to hands-on medical training, these future Soldiers showed grit and commitment every step of the way. We also had the honor of recognizing several well-earned promotions.

While many of their peers chose a typical weekend, these individuals are choosing something bigger—serving their communities and the state of West Virginia as part of the Army National Guard. That commitment sets them apart.

This past weekend Bravo Company RSP put in some solid work.

Our future Soldiers spent the weekend learning weapon system familiarity, teamwork, and the fundamentals they will need before heading to Basic Combat Training. The Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) is designed to prepare our junior and senior high school students, graduates, and college students so they arrive at training physically ready, mentally prepared, and already understanding the basics of being part of a team.

This drill focused on weapon systems and hands on instruction, giving these future Soldiers the opportunity to see, learn, and understand the equipment they will eventually train with. They were able to get familiar with different weapon systems while our cadre walked them through how each one functions and how they are used in the Army. We also conducted physical training and team building, reinforcing the discipline and mindset required to succeed.

Programs like this are what help us send prepared and confident Soldiers to Basic Combat Training. They are not just waiting to ship to training. They are learning, growing, and preparing each month.

Proud of the effort these future Soldiers continue to put in.
