Henry County Schools will offer its annual summer meal service through June 25.
Selected schools will serve free breakfast and lunch Monday-Thursday for students under the age of 19.
Adults may purchase breakfast for $2.75 and lunch for $4.50.
Breakfast will be served from 8-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 12-12:30 p.m.
Participants must eat meals on site in the cafeteria.

Come celebrate the art of storytelling through numerous mediums, ranging from traditional categories like feature films, screenplays, and shorts to more unique categories such as advertising, audio dramas, movie posters, book covers, and so much more!
The two-day McDonough Storytellers Film Festival - this Friday and Saturday - will include a jam-packed roster of panels, seminars, and workshops led by industry leaders, networking galas and hand curated screenings at venues in the McDonough Square with lots of local businesses participating in the festivities.

The primary er****on was May 19. (That’s a pun, by the way. Look closely at these signs and you’ll understand).
That was over two weeks ago.
Unless you are candidate that is facing a runoff or heading to the general election, it’s time for the signs to come down from the street corners and road right-of-ways.
We already have a bad litter problem in our community.
These signs are now litter on a stick.
For example, Mr. Brown has signs throughout the community. Some say sheriff. Some say coroner. Some say representative. Some say mayor.
Even the photos are confusing.
I’m not fond of city and county resources going toward removal of campaign signage.
Candidates: Please come pickup your litter.

Georgia's gas tax suspension officially expires at 11:59 this evening. As a result, drivers statewide will see pump prices rise by roughly 33 cents per gallon for regular gas and 37 cents per gallon for diesel. Gov. Brian Kemp declined to extend the relief, citing stabilizing oil markets and the need to protect state revenue.
