Every year, nearly 1,200 teens in Texas age out of foster care—many immediately entering the homelessness crisis.
🔍33% face homelessness by age 21, and a quarter do so within two years of aging out.
At Hope Homes, we’re committed to ensuring that aging out means advancing—never ending up alone or homeless.
Help us raise awareness and build safety for these youth. Share this post and consider donating to provide shelter for a homeless youth. 🏡

We’ve all had seasons where HOPE was hard to find. Imagine being 18, on your own, and told to figure out life without support. That’s the reality for youth aging out of foster care. Hope Homes exists so they don’t have to face that journey alone. 🏠✨ Together, we can be the reason someone still believes in HOPE.

Who are we?
Joel and Alynna have been married for 17 years and are currently raising three incredible teenagers. As a family of five, they’re passionate about supporting youth aging out of foster care, and doing it together has shaped us in the best ways. Watching our kids grow in understanding and develop servant hearts has been one of the greatest gifts of this journey.
Joel brings over a decade of experience as a business owner, builder, and contractor-skills that are now being used to help create safe, stable housing for youth who need it most.
Alynna studied criminal justice and has experience working with nonprofits, mental health hospitals for teens, youth juvenile facilities, and is serving as a CASA advocate.
Together, we’ve seen the gaps. We’ve watched youth age out of the system with no place to go and no one to call.
That’s why we’re building Hope Homes—a place where aged-out foster youth can find stability, belonging, and a real chance at thriving.
It’s a big dream, but we believe it’s possible.
