Last month, a U.S. Veteran spoke to his sister for the first time in 14 years. They have plans to meet up this month for the first time in 14 years.

Darren Cain entered our program in 2021, a day after Thanksgiving. Darren lived on the streets of Memphis underneath the bridge for almost a decade. Today, Darren is still in the home, has found financial sustainability and is on a path to homeownership in less than a decade.

This is the power of tiny homes in Memphis, TN.

Join us for dinner and discussion! We’ll welcome Zach Waters, founder and Executive Director of Homes for Hearts, and A Lee Dog Story. Home for Hearts is a non-profit that builds single-family tiny homes throughout the Memphis area and offers services to each of its residents. The cost is $20 per person. Childcare will be provided for St. John’s members only.
