Please take a moment to capture our 2nd Annual Veterans Day picnic at Shelby Farms! 🙃 This year, we’re proud to introduce our Family Supporters Program, a new addition to our SCVTC team! 🤗

We’re excited to share that SCVTC was 1 of 6 recipients, selected from 30 treatment court applicants, to receive an ALL RISE grant-partnering with Sesame Street in Communities (SSIC). This grant allowed us to provide the children with a wide range of educational materials and toys. 🙃

A huge thank you to our VTC Foundation & TEAM for making this event possible! Thanks to a generous donor, we raffled off over 30 gifts to our veterans & their supporters!

Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸 Shoutout to the Veterans Court for inviting me to paint live for their 10-year anniversary. I have so much gratitude for this program — if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be celebrating 10 years sober. Time has passed so fast, and I still can’t believe how far I’ve come. The Veterans Court gave me another opportunity to live a better life. They opened doors for me and cared for me during a time when I had given up on myself. For that, I’ll always remain grateful. Big thank you to Judge Anderson for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself, Sarah Kilbert for always being such a positive, nurturing, and caring force, and Jerry Eastern for being a role model and continuing to give me opportunities to share my art with the world. The painting was auctioned off, and all funds were donated to the Veterans Court to help continue supporting other veterans.
