Registration for Mayor Lee Harris’ 5th Annual Senior Prom will open tomorrow, June 2nd at 12 PM. Residents 65 and up can register at bit.ly/seniorprom26. This year's event will be held on Tuesday, June 16th from 4 to 7 PM at The Kent.

Here are the latest numbers on Shelby County bookings and bail settings for the month of May 2026. Events remain high relative to 2024 and 2025. The overflow of detainees from 201 Poplar being housed at the Division of Corrections also remains higher than this time last year.
