Welcome to Flora Friday! First up is the ever so important Milkweed. Milkweed (Asclepias) is a crucial native wildflower famous for its milky, toxic sap and vital role in the monarch butterfly life cycle. It supports hundreds of insect species, and there are over 100 varieties native to the United States. Plant some to support the Monarch Butterflies along with other important pollinators!

Shout out to Holly Lydigsen . . . She found these bunnies and was worried about her dog bothering them. She contacted us and we gave her some ideas on how to protect the nest and constructed this to place over the top of the nest. They are safe and sound until they are out and about on their own!
