Dear Neighbors, We have recently received photographs of the large lot located at Carolina & Riverside - an overgrown lot with neighbors complaining of rodents and snakes. We have reported this matter to code enforcement and are awaiting their response to arrange for the property to be mowed.
Unfortunately, this is an ongoing issue with the property owners who consistently fail to maintain the land despite being responsible for it. We are considering pursuing legal action against the owners and will provide further updates accordingly.
Sincerely,
Jerred Price
DNA President

Hi neighbors,
Out of an abundance of caution and with the safety of our members as our top priority, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s meeting due to the rain and lightning currently moving through the area. Forecasts are also showing storms continuing through this evening.
The rescheduled date for the May 2026 Membership Meeting at the Hu Hotel Rooftop will be Monday, June 1st from 5:30 PM–7:30 PM.
Because we know this new date and time may not work for everyone who originally registered, we will be opening a brand new registration tomorrow. Please keep an eye out for the registration email — and be sure to act quickly, as space is limited to 75 attendees.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we look forward to seeing everyone very soon. Stay safe tonight!

| DNAmemphis.org ~ A new chapter begins as the former home of The Commercial Appeal newspaper at 495 Union Ave is set to be reimagined, paving the way for progress.
The 95,000-square-foot building near downtown will make way for a brighter future, with demolition estimated at half a million dollars.
Plans are unfolding to build a state-of-the-art Regional One hospital on the site, poised to bring healing and hope to the community, replacing the current hospital on Jefferson Avenue.
