On Thursday, November 7th, The Memphis Area FEA hosted a retirement seminar for all interested FERS federal employees in the area. The seminar, presented by Greg Barrett of Federal Benefits Educators, was an informative overview of all aspects for any stages in planning your retirement from the federal workforce. Free initial consultations were offered in the future by Martin Hearn Sr. and Jr. More than 50 current area federal employees took advantage of this free event! between the two sessions this day.
Special thanks to Mr. Gary Woodall of NOAA and FEA Secretary in organizing this event, now in its second year and to the United States Postal Service on North Humphreys Boulevard in Memphis for offering their site.
