Re: Tipton County Man Charged With Child Po*******hy, Narcotics and Unlawful Firearm Possession.

A months long investigation has led to an arrest warrant and search warrant being executed at 217 W. Rae Drv, off of Campground Rd., in Munford. The suspect, Cameron Sanders was arrested on the felony warrant away from the home and transported back for the ex*****on of the search warrant.

In December, Deputies were called to the residence in regard to the unlawful video taping of a juvenile. The mother of the juvenile reported that she had found hidden cameras in her daughter's bedroom and bathroom where Sanders was secretly videoing the juvenile while n**e. During the initial investigation, Deputies were able to obtain Sanders' cell phone and turned it over to Detectives.

Detectives began a very lengthy investigation, which included executing a search warrant on Sanders' phone. Due to the amount of digital evidence on the phone, Detectives requested the assistance of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Throughout the investigation, what was uncovered was very disturbing. Thus far, over 116,000 n**e/explicit images, over 4000 n**e/explicit videos, and over 9300 of suspected Child S*x Abuse photo/videos have been uncovered. Also located were 10 videos of the juvenile, in the shower, inside the home and over 2400 more photos and videos of other unsuspecting females. A search of the home also produced morphine, pills and 8 fi****ms stored with the illegal narcotics.

Cameron Sanders (33) of 217 W. Rae Drv., who is a nurse currently working within the medical profession, has been charged with Aggravated Unlawful Photographing of a Minor, Unlawful Photography, Solicitation of a Minor by Electronic Means, Possession of Schedule II Narcotic (Morphine and Hydromorphone), Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax and Lorazepam) and Unlawful Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. As this investigation continues to unfold more charges may be forthcoming. He is currently being held on a $250,000 bond and is slated to appear before General Sessions Judge M.O. Eckel.

Sanders' case will also be presented for federal prosecution. We absolutely urge anyone that feels they may have information or that they may have been a victim, to please reach out to our detectives.

"I don't even know where to start," said Sheriff Shannon Beasley. "The allegations in this case are deeply disturbing and strike at the heart of our responsibility to protect our children and youth. The exploitation of children in any form is reprehensible. The fact that Sanders works in a profession entrusted with caring for others makes these allegations even more troubling. Let this serve as a reminder that those who prey upon or exploit our children have no place in our communities. We will use every resource available to protect our children and hold offenders accountable."

"I want to commend our Detectives for their diligent work in pursuing this case and this predator. I also want to thank the TBI and Homeland Security for their assistance in this case and appreciate their partnership."

Re: Two Tipton County Men Charged With Aggravated Robbery

A ride from a party has landed two men in jail after they robbed the occupants of the vehicle of money and a gun.

On Saturday, May 16th, Deputies were notified of an armed robbery that had occurred in the parking lot of a local convenience store at the intersection of Holly Grove Rd. and Munford Gilt Edge Rd.

The victims stated that while leaving a party two males asked them for a ride to the store. Once they arrived at the store, the driver exited the vehicle to go inside. The two men that had hitched the ride then grabbed a gun and stole money at gunpoint after threatening the passenger. The suspects then ran from the vehicle and jumped into an awaiting SUV and fled the scene.

The victims were able to give deputies a description and possible identity of the suspects due to them being familiar with them from the party.

Deputies began searching and located and identified suspects, Daniel J. Bridges, (19) of Nancy Reeder in Munford and Jeremiah A. Little (AKA Lemons) (18) of Armstrong Rd in Drummonds. Both Bridges and Little have been charged with Aggravated Robbery and are currently in custody under a $100,000 bond. Each are slated to appear before General Sessions Judge M.O. Eckel on Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:00 a.m.

Deputies also obtained information as to the whereabouts of the gun stolen and used in the robbery. A search of that area revealed the handgun along the side of the road and was positively identified as belonging to one of the victims.

"This was great work by our Patrol Deputies to receive the robbery information, identify, locate and apprehend the suspects and recovery the stolen firearm so quickly," said Sheriff Shannon Beasley. "These two guys obviously and knowingly set these victims up to rob them. They had a get away vehicle waiting that they ran to and fled the scene. I hope these young guys find a new profession and a new way of life before they try to rob the wrong person and find themselves in a graveyard instead of jail."

If anyone has information in this case, please call the Criminal Investigations Division at 901-475-3300, Central Dispatch after hours at 901-475-4300, phone in tips at 901-475-3307, email tips to [email protected] or Facebook Sheriff Shannon Beasley. Re: Three Juveniles Charged With Armed Robbery

Tipton County Detectives have charged three juveniles with armed robbery after a suspicious persons call eventually uncovered an armed robbery and a vehicle being shot.

On Tuesday, May 19th, Deputies received a call of two suspicious persons, whose faces were covered with masks, run from a home in the 2900 block of Glen Springs Rd. A witness observed the two suspects run from the home and through a wooded area to an awaiting vehicle. Deputies were able to develop a suspect vehicle and the identity of the possible suspects. A search throughout the night for the vehicle and suspects was not successful.

In the early morning hours, Detectives began receiving information in regards to possible locations of the suspects as well as at least one reported armed robbery where these same suspects had shot into a car during the robbery. Detectives began setting up surveillance and obtained search warrants for two different locations. The Sheriff's Office SWAT team executed these two search warrants which produced the robbery suspects as well as fi****ms used in these crimes.

The three juveniles were taken into custody, charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault. They were transported to detention facilities and have since been arraigned in Juvenile Court. Juvenile Judge M.O. Eckel ordered the juveniles to remain in custody until their next hearing date in July.

"Our Deputies and Detectives did an outstanding job developing suspects and following up on information, which led to their arrests," said Sheriff Shannon Beasley. "These juveniles are no stranger to our system and could likely be facing a transfer hearing to see if they will be tried as adults. It sounds to me as if this group was on a violent crime spree and we intervened just in time before they killed someone or got themselves killed. These young men are old enough to know the consequences of such actions and hopefully will have plenty of time to think about their decisions."

If anyone has information in this case, please call the Criminal Investigations Division at 901-475-3300, Central Dispatch after hours at 901-475-4300, phone in tips at 901-475-3307, email tips to [email protected] or Facebook Sheriff Shannon Beasley. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Drivers: Slow down for cyclists and pass with caution, leaving as much space as possible. Try to leave at least three feet of space. Yield to cyclists, as you would yield to pedestrians.

Cyclists: Ride in bike lanes if available, otherwise ride with the flow of traffic and on the right side of the road.

Motorcyclists don’t always slow down using the brakes, so you may not see brake lights. Allow more following distance behind motorcycles and always watch for changes in traffic!
