Since the idea that a supreme court justice is appointed for life is only a law, IMHO President Biden can now legitimately remove certain ones of them and replace them.

At the end of each year, I like to report on the work of the organization and our future direction. As you will see below, 2018 has been both successful and challenging, but is ending with new energy for 2019.

We launched a senior tricycle program at the Bickford Community Center in North Memphis. After our initial learn to ride event, seniors were given the opportunity to sign out the three trikes during the programs five day a week schedule. The program has prospered with seniors signing out the trikes and riding, often multiple times each week. Most rides are in their parking lot, but they have also ventured further around the neighborhood. As the colder months approach, they will move their riding into the gym. Ms. Shirley, their program leader, is extremely grateful to have the trikes to support the health and wellness of her seniors.

The Greater Memphis Greenline, (GMG) is excited to announce that the city has moved forward the construction date for the Chelsea Greenline to the Spring of 2019. This signature project will provide a vital new resource for Memphis that will not only link Uptown/North Memphis to the Mississippi River Trail, but also add a new trail to the evolving Regional Greenprint network. The importance and value of this project can be heard in the voices of those living in the neighborhood.

According to Ricky, “the trail will be an asset to the area because it will help the community and bring more attention to the neighborhood.” Brittany feels it would “bring the community back to life” and Dione thinks “it would bring energy to North Memphis.”
