On April 9, 2026, Debra Moody TN State Representative District 81 presented the to***co and v**e bill to the full House to help protect our youth and rehabilitate those who use these products. This bill was written by our court administrator, Scottie DeLashmit, who testified on behalf of this legislation in committee in March of this year. The Bill passed in the full House.

Today (3/16/2026) Senator Paul Rose introduced Senate Bill 1740 in the Senate Judiciary Committee, a bill to hold juveniles accountable and educate youth on the dangers of va**ng and to***co possession. It passed on a 9-0 vote.

Earlier today, 3/11/2026, our court administrator, Scottie DeLashmit, testified before the Tennessee House Criminal Justice Subcommittee on a Bill to update corrective measures for juveniles possessing v**es and to***co products. Representative Debra Moody carried the bill.
