The Future of Football is FEMALE! 🔥

The Highland Hawks took down the Campo Verde Coyotes 40-16 in a season opener that had EVERYTHING — elite QB play, fast-paced offense, and big-time defense.

Highland's Lacie Nemchick was unstoppable, leading the Ladies of Highland like a seasoned pro. Big shouts to #4 Kaliyah Kisler, #6 Aylleen Murillo, #10 Ella Witcher, and #2 Alyha Morgan!

Campo Verde's Amaya Moreno (the #1 QB in the country) and #9 Jalyana Brogan-Jacobs (female Randy Moss energy 🧤) balled out too — that squad will bounce back.

Special S/O to Will Johnson and the Arizona Cardinals for coming out to support flag football and the NFL Flag 60 program, and to Arizona Family for televising the game! 📺

WHAT A FINISH! 🏈

Mountain Ridge escapes Mountain Pointe 30-29 in a 5A thriller that came down to the wire!

LaGarrett Blount Jr. was ELECTRIC for the Pride. 7 catches, 125 yards, 3 total TDs 🔥

Jamier McKinney added 123 rushing yards and a score before leaving with an injury.

But Mountain Ridge made the plays that mattered most:
✅ Lukas Hindle's 32-yard go-ahead TD
✅ Onside kick recovery
✅ Landon Luethmer's strip-and-score

The Lions improve to 2-1 and hit the road next week vs. Saguaro.

Mountain Pointe falls to 1-2 but showed serious fight, next up: defending champs Desert Mountain.

Who do you think wins that one? Drop your predictions below! 👇

Our very first episode features JaKyi “KYI KYI” Miles — one of those ones.
🏀 #1 player in Arizona (Class of 2028)
🌍 Top 10 player in the country
⭐ Future lottery pick written all over him

KYI KYI has been built for this moment. A Made Hoops All-American since 6th grade, the pressure has never scared him — it’s shaped him. At Section 7, we overheard Gregg Rosenberg tell Bill Self one thing that stuck with us:

🗣️ “That kid is a guaranteed lottery pick.”

Last night was CRAZY. We pulled up to Sunnyslope to watch 4⭐️ Rider Portela (Colorado commit) go head-to-head with the #1 sophomore in the country, Jakyi Miles from Mesa… and it did NOT disappoint.

Sunnyslope just looked like a machine — culture, discipline, and elite coaching from Ray Portela. Rider showed why he’s one of the best two-way guards in the nation, while 6’10 junior Darius Washington had a full stat-sheet night inside.

Snipers Nash Parmley and Kadinn Williams were letting it fly, and Delton Prescott ran the show at PG. This team is absolutely an Open Division contender in Arizona.

Mesa’s superstar Jakyi Miles still got his — future lottery pick, future #1 overall pick potential. With Daijon Grayson beside him, the Jackrabbits will be a PROBLEM come 6A playoff time.
