Last night was CRAZY. We pulled up to Sunnyslope to watch 4⭐️ Rider Portela (Colorado commit) go head-to-head with the #1 sophomore in the country, Jakyi Miles from Mesa… and it did NOT disappoint.
Sunnyslope just looked like a machine — culture, discipline, and elite coaching from Ray Portela. Rider showed why he’s one of the best two-way guards in the nation, while 6’10 junior Darius Washington had a full stat-sheet night inside.
Snipers Nash Parmley and Kadinn Williams were letting it fly, and Delton Prescott ran the show at PG. This team is absolutely an Open Division contender in Arizona.
Mesa’s superstar Jakyi Miles still got his — future lottery pick, future #1 overall pick potential. With Daijon Grayson beside him, the Jackrabbits will be a PROBLEM come 6A playoff time.

🏆🐉 Congratulations to on BACK-TO-BACK State Championships in the !
What they’re building over in Chandler is special. This was the first official 11-on-11 CAA football season in Arizona, and AZ Compass wasted no time planting the Brand Arizona and making an immediate impact.
Next year… they’re taking it NATIONAL. 🌎🔥
Be on the lookout — this program is coming with force.
A major shoutout to as well for finishing their season with a state championship appearance. 🏈💪 These boys fought their hearts out — the score doesn’t reflect their effort. They battled all four quarters, and we fully expect to see them back in the dance next year! 👏🏾🔥
