This morning, we proudly hosted our inaugural Employer Breakfast at Converge Miami. It was an inspiring morning bringing together our Miami Scholarship recipients and local employers.
What made this breakfast different? We gave employers the microphone—inviting them to speak directly about the roles they’re hiring for and the skills they’re looking for.
We would like to express our gratitude to:
Adrian Nuñez (Zoox), Edna Medina (AWS re/Start), Matthew Deering (Ascendo Resources), Brenda Arce (Robert Half), Kenlly Silvestre, MBA (University of Miami Health System), Manuela Lagas (Baptist Health), and Ehsan Ansari (Leon Recruitment) for joining us.
We also thank Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela, the team at The Allapattah Collaborative, CDC, Mileyka Burgos-Flores, Santander Arguelles and Drelly Rios for their hospitality.
And of course, our training providers, our universities, and Miami-Dade technical colleges who continue to shape and strengthen our local talent pipeline.
This is the first of many — the next Miami Employer Breakfast is scheduled for May 20.
