๐น FIUPD will NEVER ask for banking information, passwords, PIN numbers, Social Security numbers, gift cards, wire transfers, or electronic payments over the phone, by text, or via email.
๐น Be cautious of caller ID spoofingโscammers can make calls appear to come from legitimate phone numbers.
๐น If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and verify the caller by contacting FIUPD directly through official channels.
๐น Never click suspicious links or share personal information with unknown callers.
If you believe you may have been targeted by a scam, report it to FIUPD immediately.

On May 7th, members of FIUPD attended the Law Enforcement Memorial to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.
Their courage, dedication, and legacy will never be forgotten. We stand united in remembering our fallen heroes and supporting the families and agencies they left behind. ๐๐ค
Yesterday our FIUPD PSTโs aided the FIU Brazilian Students Association in delivering donations they collected for the Lotus House womanโs Shelter.
As Autism Awareness Month comes to a close, we continue to stand with and support individuals on the autism spectrum. Awareness leads to understanding, and understanding builds stronger, safer communities. ๐

Yesterday, FIU Police conducted active shooter response training at the Ambulatory Care Center to ensure our officers remain prepared to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
