This is the last week of Zofia’s art installation, Recollections in Bloom, at through April 25th.
This exhibit encompasses over a years worth of hard work with each piece taking about 6 - 10 hours of work for Zofia to complete. Each one tells a different woman’s story from her grandmother, Ita, and mother, to the beautiful circle of friends God has blessed and planted in the garden of life around her.
You can now shop the whole art collection and previous collections on her website at www.mysensoryart.com/art, as well as her Sensory Wands.
Thank you for supporting her as a multisensory artist and her small business that allows her to with others. And, we hope you share her story and business with others.

Can you believe this is the last week of Zofia aka Lady ZAP’s art exhibit, ‘Recollections in Bloom’? 💐
April is Autism Acceptance Month, and this exhibit was created with accessibility, connection, and sensory-friendly experiences in mind. As an artist with autism and Down syndrome, it was important to Zofia that people could experience art in different ways.
Most galleries have signs saying “Please Don’t Touch,” but Zofia wanted to create a space where touch, movement, and sensory engagement are welcome 💛
Visitors can explore ‘Seeds of Connection,’ which is her tactile board made of smaller textured pieces from her original paintings that people are invited to touch. They can also spend time in the sensory seating area with her handmade Sensory Wands, which is a space to stim, play, reflect, and .
Everyone experiences beauty differently, and Zofia hopes her exhibit helps people feel seen, included, and connected.
Come visit before it closes this week 🌸

My mom wrote, “I couldn’t be prouder of my mighty magnolia, my daughter, Zofia aka Lady ZAP, and this entire collection, which is inspired by her grandmother, Ita. From a picture of her sitting in a valley of wildflowers in North Carolina, that photo was the catalyst and seedling of an idea that became the 9-piece installation, Recollections in Bloom, and tactile board, Seeds of Connection. My photo submission are giant magnolia blossoms taken last June in TN, which was my last visit with my dad before his passing in November. My reflections are included about how much Zofia embodies the qualities of the Magnolia tree in her resilience and ambition as a multi-sensory artist. And she’s only getting started.”
We hope everyone gets a chance to see the show before it ends on the 25th. The gallery is closed this weekend but opens Tuesday through Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-4.

When you arrive, you’ll see a gold basket on the table. Inside are these cards we made for you to take home. Each one has a butterfly made from biodegradable seed paper that you can plant 🌱
We chose this poem because it reminds me of all the friendships in my life:
“Seeds of friendship,
Planted throughout
One’s lifetime,
Grow into the most
Beautiful gardens.”
