I'm proud to share a project that let me wear a few different hats at once.

The City of Pembroke Pines, Florida - Government commissioned me to design and produce a large-scale vinyl mural commemorating America 250 — the 250th anniversary of the United States — for the lobby of City Hall. While I'm known primarily as a public art curator, this project called on my background as a graphic designer as well.

The installation spans two walls in a corner, designed so the imagery reads as one continuous panoramic composition. A bald eagle soars across both panels, flanked by the Statue of Liberty, George Washington, the Liberty Bell, the U.S. Capitol, the Declaration of Independence, the American flag, and the official America 250 logo.

Seeing it installed is always the best part. Proud to have contributed something lasting to our community's celebration of this milestone.

What does $7.9 million in arts funding look like? It looks like 100+ artists and cultural organizations thriving in Broward County. 🎨

Last month, I had the honor of speaking at the Broward County Cultural Division's 5th Annual Grantee Reception at the Hollywood Art and Culture Center — a milestone evening celebrating 50 years of arts and culture in our community.

As Chair of the Broward Cultural Council, moments like this remind me why public art matters: it builds identity, drives economic vitality, and transforms the places where we live and work.

If you're a developer, municipality, or BID looking to activate your spaces with meaningful public art, I'd love to connect.

Thank you Taimy Alvarez for the video!

Meet Jill Weisberg 03/11/2026

Grateful to be featured in CanvasRebel this week. ✨

The conversation covers a lot of ground — my path from graphic design to public art, what it took to get those first murals on the walls in Hollywood, and why I believe art that lives in our everyday spaces matters as much as anything hanging in a gallery.

Thank you to the CanvasRebel team for the thoughtful feature. And thank you to everyone who has supported this work along the way — the artists, the clients, the communities. None of it happens without you.

Feeling incredibly grateful to be included in this exhibition alongside such talented artists!

I’m honored to share that I have five pieces — plus limited-edition prints — featured in Flex & Flux, an exhibition exploring how artists transform language into visual, tactile, and conceptual material.

Extra special thanks to Molly Channon and Laura Marsh for curating me into such a wonderful exhibition!
