10 Years of Official Recognition. A Lifetime of Legacy. Happy Birthday, Little Haiti!
Little Haiti has been the heartbeat of Miami's Haitian community for decades, a place where Creole is spoken, culture is celebrated, and resilience runs deep. But it took the unwavering dedication of Haitian community leaders, activists, and everyday residents to make it official. In May 2016, the City of Miami formally designated Little Haiti as an official neighborhood with recognized boundaries, a hard-fought victory that belongs to every single person who called this community home before it had a name on a map. Now, we celebrate!
The Little Haiti Revitalization Trust invites you to join us for a cocktail reception commemorating the 10th Anniversary of Little Haiti's Official Boundaries right in the heart of the neighborhood we love.
