These fusible links ar3 critical pieces to a fire suppression systems effectiveness. They are a heat sensing element which are required to be replaced every six months. With a date stamp of 2020, the previous person servicing this equipment neglected to change them for the last 2 inspections creating a great liability for the customer and the service company he works for.

The danger to people and property are staggering. Imagine these vehicles parked inside someone's home garage or a buildings parking garage. The fire is not controllable and can not be extinguished by the traditional means of water or any other method of extinguishment. Fire fighters are often choosing to just allow them to burn out seeing the futility of the normal methods.

What you never want your fire system to look like. Tanks about to fall off the wall. The actuation line was left removed following inspection. The hood had not been sealed to NFPA96 standards. The plenum area corner pulley is from
a 1986 FSI fire system. It's always a shame to see such poor desire to install and service a fire system correctly.

Man walked into the restaurant stating he had to check the fire protection system and returned with a $900 invoice from a company which doesn't even exist. Maintaining a good relation with your customers is the key to preventing this from happening to your customers. When they know your companies name and their usual technicians, chances are that an unfamiliar face will make them reach out and contact their service company to verify a person's credentials.
