Recently, we had the privilege to receive a visit by members from one of the Polish Regional International US&R teams. We discussed and compared a equipment and tactics only to come to the final conclusion that we are worlds apart but our members are cut from the same cloth. Our mission and drive to provide life saving tactics across multiple disciplines is shared throughout the US&R community.

Our water rescue specialists just completed another week of swiftwater training in the Nantahala River, NC. Floods are one of the most dangerous and frequent natural disasters that take place in North America. As water seeks to find its lowest point, deadly swiftwater conditions could arise and endanger the lives of all individuals exposed. At Florida Task Force 2, we firmly believe that the level of training must match the stakes posed by these incidents. In doing so, our team increases its capability and the survivability of any victim that encounters this type of emergency.
