***
The Legacy Gardens Initiative aims to heal and unite the community—one garden at a time.
This initiative, by ECO Planet provides fresh spices and vegetables that can support local feeding ministries, while also empowering
churches, nonprofits and schools to implement AC water recycling systems for landscaping and garden maintenance while adding unique art murals and building improvements to each location.
Through this effort, we seek not only to beautify each space but also to help our partners preserve and improve their properties from the outside in.
Each garden will serve as a living tribute to the community leaders who have left a legacy of service and sustainability. It will also become a space where all generations can come together—to grow, learn, and be inspired. By engaging youth and elders alike, the Legacy Gardens will cultivate the next generation of

Legacy Garden—a living tribute to sustainability, art, and community—right in Coconut Grove.
ECO Planet Earth extends a heartfelt thank you to Commissioner Damian Pardo of the City of Miami, our Founding Sponsor of the Legacy Gardens Initiative, for his unwavering support during this past Earth Day Celebration and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Greater St. Paul AME Church in Coconut Grove on April 22, 2025. He witnessed firsthand how art can heal and unite us!
The Celebration and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony honored the stunning mural work of Tierra Armstrong and ECO Planet’s Earth’s Legacy Gardens Initiative, aiming to beautify 10 Historical Black Churches in Coconut Grove.
The City of Miami and Commissioner Pardo went on to recognize Tierra Armstrong with an Official Proclamation on May 22, 2025. This tribute celebrated not only her extraordinary artistry but also her lasting impact on the cultural and ecological fabric of our community. Tierra’s dedication and creative leadership have served as an inspiring example to the young students from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, who participated in our efforts to beautify the space.
Additionally, ECO Planet Earth would like to send a profound thank you, officially, to Ruth Valenzuela, Fabian Martinez, Scott Moliver, Silvio Pulpo, Michael Molinar, Kobi Karp, Ishmael Garcia, Jr., Dr. Andrea Andzenge, Connie Caldwell (to name a few), and many more, who helped bring this initiative alive.
