Happy Birthday to Secretary of State Marco Rubio! We are proud to recognize his leadership and his connection to our university as he was formerly a professor at FIU.

Thank you Secretary Rubio for your statesmanship that has influenced many in the U.S. and across Latin America!

We will be having one of our last events on campus on Thursday to Meet The Candidates for the next E-Board.

From 5-6 we will have our vp debate with a 30 minute break after. From 6:30-8:00 we will do an informal social to meet everyone else!

As a board we are beyond shocked at the behavior and language used from our prior members in a private non-CR affiliated chat. Racism and Anti-semetism has no place in politics or humanity.

Rest assured that those found to have been engaging in this chat, or other chats we may become aware of, will face the consequences under the constitution of College Republicans at FIU and be removed from the club.

We will stay strong and fight any hatred, bigotry, racism or distain for our fellow human beings. These despicable actions and hateful bigoted words of a select few who wish to align themselves with Republicans and Conservatives are not welcome. They do not align with our views or morals.

Hatred, Bigotry, and Racism are not laughing matters. As Republicans and Conservatives we will always fight to end this behavior.
