Our officers conducted proactive enforcement and community education throughout Sunny Isles Beach, addressing bicycle, e-bike, and scooter safety.

Officers educated children and adults on local ordinances, including helmet requirements and e-bike restrictions on sidewalks.

Three residents were cited for scooter violations, including tandem riding. In one incident, a 4-year-old was riding without a helmet while tandem riding. A written warning was issued for the tandem-riding violation.

Through education and enforcement, we remain committed to promoting compliance with local ordinances and keeping our streets and sidewalks safe for everyone.
