Sometimes I name the photos I take. This one I call perseverance. This shot was captured this past weekend in Nashville, TN on Fisk University’s track and field for the 21th Annual .
I remember standing on the porch of my father’s pizza place watching the stage and events for the 1st Jefferson St Jazz & Blues Festival. We have had sometimes and a lot of great memories. So what an honor it was to be able to go back home and see my people again. The spirit and the energy felt magical. Great job and all the amazing people that made it happen!

BRING THE COSBY BACK NOW PLEASE
To the creators out here screaming they are doing for the culture but in turn put out toxic content that promotes genocide. The example of Black excellence as far as media goes is back.
When people of the community turned their backs on him it puzzled me. You don’t see that every time someone that is Black does something that is not making Blacks look like ni**as they all ways become a target.
The power of propaganda is real but it doesn’t have to be negative. If you really doing it for the culture then let me see you remake the Cosby Show or any or programming that inspired the culture such as it did.
Flashback to the time when the world was shut down and we were all trying to figure out this new normal I had the pleasure on working on this show with some really cool cats.
