Yesterday was such an incredible day at Midland Lee! 🗳️✨

We teamed up with the local elections office and Mr. Bullard to help students get registered to vote.

Whether students were already 18, turning 18 before Election Day this November, or even if they are 17 and 10 months old and eligible to register ahead of time, we were there to make it happen!

During passing periods and class time, we registered 18 students and sent one home with a mail-in application.

A massive thank you to our amazing Common Ground volunteer Cindy for joining me, to Mr. Bullard for having us, and to the Midland elections office for inviting us out.

We’re keeping the momentum going! Catch us next week:

🍔 Next Event: October 2nd at BAM Ventures

📍 We’ll have a table set up ready to get you registered, and Dead Burger Garage will be there so you can grab a bite to eat while you sort it out!

Fingers crossed we get the green light from Midland High soon too we’re ready when you are!

🗳️ It’s Election Day!

Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM — there’s still time to make your voice heard.

If childcare is on your mind, don’t let that stop you. You are allowed to bring your kids (under 18) with you when you vote. Let them see the process. Let them learn how it works. Civic engagement starts at home.

Your vote matters — locally, statewide, and nationally.

Make a plan. Grab your ID. Take your kids. Go vote. 🇺🇸
