Today at 7:30 PM, I officially announce my candidacy for re-election to the Montgomery City Council.
Three and a half years ago, when I first asked for your support, the message from our community was clear- fix our streets. Together, we developed a plan, followed through on that commitment, and made meaningful progress.
As that work moved forward, our residents spoke again, asking us to slow the pace and be mindful of the financial impact. I listened, and I believe our council responded responsibly by adjusting our approach while continuing to move Montgomery forward.
If I am fortunate enough to earn your trust for another four-year term, my priorities will be clear:
• Maintain and protect the investments we’ve already made.
• Continue planning for the completion of our remaining street projects with a responsible long-term strategy.
• Work toward building a new fire hall that our dedicated firefighters deserve while aggressively pursuing state funding to help reduce the burden on local taxpayers.
• Continue advocating for responsible financial management as older street improvement bonds are paid off, creating opportunities to ease pressure on taxpayers.
• Support our EMS services by ensuring they have the resources they need while making thoughtful, fiscally responsible decisions with every taxpayer dollar.
No one can predict every challenge the future may bring, but I can promise this: I will continue to work hard, listen to our residents, and make decisions based on what is best for Montgomery—not just today, but for years to come.
Serving as your City Council member has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Thank you for the confidence you’ve placed in me during my first term. I sincerely hope to earn your support once again as we begin this campaign for another four years of service.
Thank you very much and I’ll see you at the polls this November. 🇨🇿
