The Sullivan County Republican Committee, along with the Transit Union Supervisors Local 106 was thrilled to host gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman for Governor at Resorts World Catskills on Sunday evening. Chairman Robert Doherty emceed the event welcoming NY State Senate candidate Assemblyman Chris Tague who fired up the crowd. Congressional candidate, Sen. Peter Oberacker, followed, speaking of his deep connection to the district he hopes to continue to serve, indicating that Washington politicians may “outspend us, but they will never outfarm us.” Sullivan County Sheriff Mike Schiff spoke about the challenges facing law enforcement under the current administration, before Bruce Blakeman took the stage.
Attendees from Town committees and the community at large had the opportunity to meet with Blakeman before he took the stage to motivate everyone to do their patriotic duty and vote in November. “You can fly the American flag, but if you don’t get out to the polls and do your civic duty, you are unpatriotic.”
