OCTOBER IS NATIONAL CRIME PREVENTION MONTH

October serves as a reminder of the important role crime prevention plays in maintaining safe and secure communities.

Lee County Crime Stoppers encourages residents to take an active role in crime prevention by remaining vigilant, securing homes and vehicles, protecting personal information, and reporting suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.

Community safety is a shared responsibility. By working together, residents, law enforcement, and community partners can help prevent crime, promote public safety, and strengthen our neighborhoods.

If you have information regarding criminal activity, please contact Lee County Crime Stoppers. Your information may help investigators, and tips can be submitted anonymously.

Together, we can make a difference in keeping our community safe.

THE HELP BEHIND THE SCENES THAT MADE IT ALL POSSIBLE!🙌🏼

While more than 1,000 people came through our event, there was a whole lot happening behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly!

An event of this size takes more than planning and volunteers. It takes generous community partners who are willing to donate supplies, lend equipment, and go the extra mile to help make everything come together. Today, we want to recognize some of those incredible people and businesses!

A COMMUNITY COMING TOGETHER! 💙

One of the best parts of our event was seeing so many local businesses, organizations, and agencies come together to support our community! With approximately 36 businesses and organizations represented, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to participate.

To every business, agency, and organization that set up a booth, brought displays, shared resources, connected with attendees, and helped make this event so engaging, THANK YOU! 👏

Your participation helped make this event more than just a gathering. It created an opportunity for our community to connect with the amazing people and organizations that serve, support, and strengthen Lee County every day.

We know that setting up for an event takes time, preparation, and effort, and we don’t take that commitment for granted. We appreciate each and every one of you who showed up and helped make this event such a success!

WHAT A COMMUNITY! THANK YOU, LEE COUNTY! ❤️

We are still smiling thinking about the incredible turnout and support for our 10th Annual All Treats No Tricks Halloween Event! What an amazing reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a common cause.

🎉 1,055 people came through!
🏢 Approximately 80 people represented 34 businesses and organizations.
🙌 Approximately 18 volunteers helped keep everything running smoothly.

Those numbers represent so much more than attendance. They represent a community that shows up, local businesses that give generously, volunteers who give their time, and people who believe in supporting the work we do.

Lee County Crime Stoppers would like to extend our sincerest THANK YOU to every person who attended, every business that participated, every organization that set up, and every volunteer who helped bring this event to life.

A special thank-you to The Hidden Tower for being part of making this event possible, along with all the agencies, businesses, sponsors, and community partners who contributed their time, resources, and generosity.

We’re excited to announce that our annual All Treats, No Tricks event has EXPANDED! This year, we’ll be utilizing TWO indoor spaces to make room for even more Halloween fun!
You will still enter through the big purple cat where you’ll find:

🛍️ A few businesses handing out candy
🎨 Pumpkin painting for a freewill donation that supports Lee County CEO.

Calling All Local Businesses, Organizations & Community Members! 👻 We have limited space left!!

We’re gearing up for our 10th Annual - All Treats, No Tricks FREE Halloween Event, the biggest Halloween celebration in Lee County, Iowa! 🕸️

Here’s your chance to get your business in front of hundreds of local families while giving back to the community. We’re inviting YOU to set up a booth and hand out candy, coupons, flyers, samples, or anything fun for the kids and parents!

✅ FREE to participate — no booth fees, no strings attached
✅ Costumes optional (but we LOVE when you get spooky!)
✅ Endless exposure to families from across the county
