💡 Fun fact! The Rengstorff House's taxidermy collection was originally planned for a nature center at Shoreline. When those plans did not come to fruition, the specimens were displayed at the historic home, offering a glimpse into how Victorians used to bring nature indoors.

Celebrate and learn about our birds with a taxidermy exhibit and guided birdwatching led by the Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance, plus family-friendly activities, and tours of the museum home. BYO binoculars or borrow a pair from your guides.

👟Put on your walking shoes and catch the next walking history tour with Mountain View Historical Association.
Enjoy a walking tour on the first full day of summer! Join us Sunday June 22 at 2 pm at Centennial Plaza at 600 W. Evelyn Avenue.
Registration is required to secure your spot.
The standard tour will be approximately one mile and one hour long and will cover historic sites along Castro Street, ending near Eagle Park. .
