The Pickett Fire is currently mapped at 6,803 acres, with 13% containment. Pictured with this post are various shots of CAL FIRE around the fire line and at incident command in downtown Napa.
It’s important to note that evacuation orders and warnings still in effect:

You may have seen increased traffic downtown Napa due to Incident Command for the Pickett Fire now based at the Napa Valley Expo. We thank you for your patience with this increased activity and longer commute times.
For the public looking to get more information on the fire, CAL FIRE staff are at the multiple locations to meet with residents and answer questions. Additionally, there are public information boards at the designated locations to keep the community informed about fire status.

The Bay Area Air District extended its air quality advisory through Wednesday, August 27th for Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties. This marks the third time the advisory has been extended since the Pickett Fire, which began August 21st. Expect hazy skies in the North Bay. Please stay alert to news coverage and health warnings related to wildfire smoke. You can also check the air quality at https://fire.airnow.gov/

8/24/2025 Napa OES- The Calistoga Community Center, located at 1307 Washington St, Calistoga, CA 94515, is open and operating as a resource center for individuals who have evacuated. Amenities include A/C, charging stations, and light refreshments.

The is currently 11% contained and 6,500 acres have been burned.
