Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee

The SNCC is one of the most influential organizations of the American Civil Rights Movement in pursuit of equality between black and white Americans.

The SNCC is an organization aimed to promote peaceful protests in hopes of accomplishing freedom and equality between the black and white men in America. The organization was formed in 1960. Some of the movements promoted in order to aid in accomplishing the ultimate mission are the Sit -Ins and Freedom Rides.
