🌾🌲 Tennessee producers and landowners impacted by Hurricane Helene may qualify for the Agricultural & Timber Relief Fund! 🚜🌧️

The Tennessee Disaster Recovery Block Grant Program is offering reimbursement for verified infrastructure loss, market loss, future economic loss or timber loss in these designated Tennessee counties impacted by the storm: Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington.

✅ Deadline to apply: July 21.

🔥 Tennessee burn permits are no longer required through October 15! 🌾☀️

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture has announced that the state’s annual burn permit requirement ended May 15 and will resume October 15. Residents can now conduct open-air burning without a permit during this timeframe, but safety should always remain a top priority. 🚒🌲

Before burning, be mindful of weather conditions, dry vegetation and local safety guidelines to help prevent wildfires and protect communities across the state.
