It is imperative they be accurate, timely, and thorough. The OIG, in collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as healthcare providers, identify, investigate, and seek prosecution of individuals who defraud the TennCare program. Support for the OIG mission on the part of local law enforcement, prosecutors, healthcare providers, citizens, and members of the General Assembly has been a tremendous asset. As a result, the OIG’s resolve to stop TennCare fraud is even stronger. To report TennCare recipient fraud or abuse, you may use any of the following methods:
•Call the Fraud Toll Free Hotline at 1-800-433-3982. You may also call the Office of Inspector General’s main telephone at 615-687-7200 to be transferred to a Hotline staff member.
