September was National Library Card Month. 13 people in the community opened a library account with us for the first time, and tons of people came in to renew their existing cards! 😁

Since September is also National Honey Month, we decided to combine the two celebrations. Everyone who opened a new account received a honey stick, and we had an extremely popular bee scavenger hunt that ran all month long. Visitors who could find five bees hidden around the main floor of the Library got to enter into a honey-themed raffle. The prizes are pictured here, and the two winners will be contacted by October 3rd. There were 169 entries!

Thank you to Gress Produce for donating the local honey for our prize baskets! 🐝

(And thank you to everyone who stopped by in September!) ❀
