Belmar
This is among the top beaches for families and groups. Voted as a clean and safe beach, Belmar got the first stop among all central New Jersey beaches in a survey. The boardwalk is made out of a new material called Trex which eliminates the possibility of splinters. There are many fun activities to here like kayaking, surfing and even boogie boarding.

Among the last untouched barrier beaches on the Atlantic coast, Island Beach State Park provides hours of fun for nature lovers. It has among the largest osprey colonies among shorebirds, wading fowl and song birds. The park in itself is a narrow barrier island between Bernegat Bay and the ocean.
