🏛️ CITY CLOSURES

City Buildings: All city administrative buildings will remain CLOSED on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

🗑 No TRASH SERVICES ALL WEEK!

Suspension: Curbside trash and recycling pickup is suspended for the remainder of the week.

Resumption: Services are scheduled to resume on Monday, March 2, 2026. Please do not place bins at the curb until that time to allow plows clear access.

🚗 Water St. Parking Garage: FREE OF CHARGE until further notice!

To assist residents and aid in the snow removal process, parking at the Water St. Garage will remain available FREE OF CHARGE until further notice. We strongly encourage utilizing this off-street option.

Street Restrictions: On-street parking restrictions remain in FULL EFFECT until further notice. Vehicles impeding snow removal operations may be ticketed or towed.

❄️ WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY: PLEASE STAY OFF THE ROADS ❄️

To ensure the safety of our community and the efficiency of emergency operations, the New London Police Department is advising all residents to remain indoors and stay off the roadways.

Current road conditions are hazardous. Keeping the roads clear is critical to allow:

🚜 Snow clearing crews to plow and salt effectively.

🚓🚒🚑 Emergency services (Police, Fire, EMS) to respond safely and quickly to urgent calls.

Please only travel if it is an absolute emergency or strictly necessary. If you must go out, please exercise extreme caution and give right-of-way to all emergency and maintenance vehicles.
