To win deeper investments in home care, our movement must be connected, organized, and ready to take action together – which is why we are hosting Caring Majority Orientations the first and third Thursday of the month starting next week (10/15)!

At these 30-min orientations, you’ll get the opportunity to meet some of our leaders, get to know our organization, share your story, and find out how you can take action!

We're the Caring Majority, and we're ready to win big this year! This weekend, 80+ Caring Majority leaders joined in Albany and virtually for our annual grassroots member leader retreat – it was a huge success!

We left with a shared understanding of what we're fighting for, the landscape we're fighting in, and a plan for building power across New York State so we can win a home care system that works for us, not for corporations.

The Trump Admin's termination of TPS for Haitian immigrants is cruel and harmful on many levels. Among them: fraying our already-crumbling care infrastructure.

"Immigrants make up 30% of the country’s direct care workers... And that share is especially high in New York State, where the study found 60% of direct care workers are immigrants."

Trump's ending Temporary Protected Status for Haitians has implications beyond the immigrant community.
