The preservation of this access matters: every day, patients in states across the country rely on telemedicine to get abortion care, and we’re relieved that they will not face even more barriers.
But this fight isn’t over: the underlying case will now return to the conservative appeals court, Trump’s FDA is continuing its politically-motivated “safety review” of mifepristone, and attacks from state legislatures will continue.

BREAKING: An appeals court in Louisiana has just ordered nationwide restrictions on mifepristone—one of the most commonly used abortion medications—eliminating the ability of patients to receive it by mail or through a telemedicine appointment.
Brought by Louisiana’s anti-choice Attorney General, this ruling is a wrenching illustration that what happens in state-level elections has consequences that reach far beyond state lines.

A South Carolina bill criminalizing abortion patients—and threatening them with jail time—has just moved out of committee.
While unlikely to be passed into law, this bill is still dangerous. It moves the Overton window on this issue further towards the extreme, spreads disinformation and fear, and discourages patients from seeking the care they need.

Wisconsin just did it again. Pro-choice candidate Chris Taylor won a seat on the state Supreme Court — by 20 points! That's four consecutive wins for pro-choice candidates on this court.
Voters continue showing up for abortion rights. This fall, we have the chance to notch more court victories in Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, and Arizona.
