Spotlight - Myoshi Maul

A Behavioral Scientist by trade, Myoshi Maul, born in the Bronx is a founding member of LUPA Justice Inc. In her spare time, she is an activist working on women’s issues and against institutional discrimination. Her passion around diversity and inclusion efforts, passion around youth and families led her and Booker Geez to start the organization LUPA Justice Inc. to advocate for youth and families in the communities.

Spotlight - Booker Geez

Erik Malcolm Bishop, who goes by the pen name Booker Geez, is the author of the recently published book “Locked Up and Put Away, my 10 years as a juvenile counselor” and is the founder and CEO of LUPA Justice. A graduate of Delaware State University Erik worked for the Department of Youth and Family Services, a division of the Administration for Child Services, in New York City. He has worked as a Youth Advocate for 4 years at Leake & Watts which is a residential treatment program for troubled youth. He has worked in secure and non-secure facilities working with adolescence with mental illness. His unrelenting commitment to this population is endless. In 2018 he was put on the Manhattan Borough President’s Task Force to Reform Rikers Island. “My goal with LUPA Justice is to educate today’s youth on the juvenile justice system and let them know their rights as American citizens,” he would say. Support Erik AKA Booker Geez and his team as they go to schools through out this country to end the school-to-prison pipeline.

Spotlight - Paul Sibblies

Paul Sibbles, on left alongside our founder, will represent LUPA Justice as the Vice President. Paul is the principal at Wyandanch High School in Long Island New York. His contributions to our youth are endless. In addition to his volunteer work at detention centers Paul directs the Kappa League which is made up of young men in high school who are prepared for the college experience. We are honored to have Paul on our board.
